Nova is a San Diego tattoo artist with a focus on neo-Japanese tattooing. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese imagery and storytelling, she enjoys creating pieces featuring classic motifs such as yokai, geisha, dragons, and other subjects that carry rich symbolism and history. Her work combines bold composition with a contemporary approach while adapting to each client’s vision and ideas.

Committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment, Nova aims for her clients to leave not only with a tattoo they love, but with an experience they enjoyed.

Outside of the shop, Nova spends her time creating art at home, enjoying matcha boba outings with friends, and rewatching comfort anime like Cowboy Bebop or NANA! A series that helped shape her love for Japanese aesthetics, fashion, and storytelling.
