Sophia’s all about bold, timeless imagery with a touch of attitude. Lady heads are her absolute favorite to tattoo, she loves bringing personality and expression to each one. She’s also drawn to big cats, florals, fans, and anything with that classic traditional flair. Her work pulls inspiration from collage art, vintage flash, and western iconography, blending it all into her own distinctive style.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Sophia kicked off her tattoo career in San Diego and still makes her way back to the Pacific Northwest for guest spots. At Guru, she thrives on being surrounded by so many talented artists and the creative energy that fills the shop every day.

When she’s not tattooing, Sophia’s probably out adventuring with her husband and their three dogs-or unwinding through weightlifting, cycling, or yoga!
