ABOUT PAUL DHUEY

"I entered the wide world of tattooing through drawing flash and getting tattooed" states artist Paul Dhuey. He attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design but, fed up with the artsy fartsy attitudes, he decided that tattooing was what he wanted to do. He got an apprenticeship with a local tattoo artist and worked there for a while but, hungry for more, he started traveling and doing guest spots across the Midwest. I met a lot of people and saw a lot of different styles of tattooing, which I now feel has made me a more well-rounded tattooist. When it comes down to it I want to offer my clients the best of whatever they want. I love the challenge and that is what tattooing offers me most. As stated in the #97 issue of TATTOO REVIEW article...
