ABOUT ANTHONY FILO
Anthony started tattooing professionally in 2000 at Sick & Twisted productions in Newport Beach california, where he was apprenticed. Learning from the amazing STP crew ( especially the very talented and all around class act, Joel Bones ) , he is a well rounded multi-faceted tattooer. After STP's transition to Orange County Ink in Costa Mesa, Anthony spent a little more time in Orange County before heading down to San Diego for a much needed change. That change was working at a very high volume street shop in Pacific Beach honing technical skills, painting, meeting other talented young artists, and collecting a trilogy's worth of crazy stories from the hilarious to the deboucharous! After three years or so spent in the trenches and a bit of traveling here and there it was time to focus on larger custom work again. Anthony joined Chronic Tattoo for a little under two years before joining Aaron and his top notch crew at GURU. The positive vibe and happy healthy artistic atmospere was just what he needed to really get down and do what he does best. Neo-traditional , japanese influenced, bio-organic, and true black & grey are his preferred styles. Also anything clever, funny, weird, or witty! When he isn't tattooing, Anthony can be found in North Park working on choppers or his lincoln setting off car alarms all over the neighborhood!TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
