ABOUT NICK ALVAREZ

Raised in Los Angeles, California, Nick Alvarez joined the US Navy right out of High School.  While stationed in Japan he started tattooing his friends in the barracks after being tattooed and eventually learning from Edo at Edo's Tattoo in Ayase Japan. Upon returning home he continued to tattoo many of his friends and eventually met Mike Suarez at True Tattoo in Hollywood, Ca. who is now a huge influence on Nick's career.  After two years Nick knew this was his passion and started tattooing professionally first at Union Electric Tattoo in Wilmington, Ca., South Bay Tattoo in Carson, Ca., and then  Modern Ink in Inglewood, Ca.  Nick has been professionally tattooing for six years and has now moved to San Diego to work at Guru Tattoo.  You can Also check Nick out at 77TATTOO.COM
